The CompTIA Project+ examination is designed for business professionals who coordinate or manage small-to-medium-size projects of all types. It is designed to help individuals inside and outside of the Information Technology (IT) profession.
The exam will certify that the successful candidate has knowledge and skills required to manage the project life cycle, ensure appropriate communication, manage resources and stakeholders, and maintain project documentation. This candidate will also have the ability to support the completion of larger projects.

The previous version of the CompTIA Project+ exam (PK0-003) remains available until Sept. 30, 2017. Certification candidates who have been studying for that version of the exam are encouraged to continue with their preparation and to take that exam.
