New Year Resolution: Get IT Certified
We have reached the end of the year. Perhaps at the start of this year, you set a few goals for yourself that pertained to acquiring a new IT certification. If you achieved your goals, congratulations! You’ve invested in yourself and it’s paid off with an added credential to your resume and skill set.
For those who have yet to acquire such achievements…there’s always next year. 2020 is right around the corner. If your circumstances allow, start the year off constructive and begin studying right away. If you need instructive guidance to obtain your next IT certification, consider signing up for one of the four bootcamps ATG has starting at the beginning of 2020.
Whether you’re an already knowledgeable IT professional or looking for an entry-level position in the IT industry, consider obtaining your core skills certifications first. These would be the CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications. ATG has strategically bundled these certifications into a two week long training bootcamp. By enrolling in the CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ bootcamp, you can certify in three major areas in IT. If your schedule doesn’t permit you to start this comprehensive bootcamp, consider taking advantage of our available CompTIA A+/Network+ evening training.
Maybe you already have one of two of these core skill certifications and are looking to obtain an IT certification in cybersecurity. If you prefer to stay under the vendor-neutral CompTIA umbrella, take the CompTIA Security+ bootcamp or go further and consider enrolling in the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) bootcamp. ATG is also an authorized (ISC)² training provider and will have both the (ISC)² CISSP bootcamp and (ISC)² CAP bootcamp starting in January, 2020.
Enjoy what’s left of 2019 and get ready to upskill in 2020. Make your new year resolution to get IT certified!
